OrthoV developed this application for partner stores. Installed on a store tablet, it lets on-site users play videos selected by the store during training.
Vision Training Center is an application developed by OrthoV and installed on partner-store tablets so that stores can guide on-site users through binocular vision training.
When a store authorizes this application with a Google account, the application name shown on the Google consent screen is “OrthoV.” That name and the “Vision Training Center” described on this page refer to the same application.
This application is available only to partner stores under contract with OrthoV and is not distributed to general consumers.
Each store tablet is linked to one store Google account. On-site training users do not need to, and will not, sign in with their own Google accounts.
Each store decides whether to authorize its own Google account. Once authorized, the application uses only read-only access (youtube.readonly) to retrieve that account's subscriptions, liked videos, and playlists for display as selectable training videos.
The application remains usable without authorization, but the video-selection screen will not show content from the store's own account.
The application never creates, modifies, or deletes any YouTube content in that account, and never comments, subscribes, or uploads on the user's behalf.
Authorization credentials are stored only in the encrypted storage of that tablet and are never uploaded to OrthoV servers. Retrieved video titles and thumbnails are likewise only displayed and cached on that device.
When a store signs out inside the application, the System immediately revokes the authorization with Google and clears the credentials and cache on the device. A store may also remove the authorization at any time from the permissions page of its Google account.
